Here at ID Management Systems we deal with a huge number of the local councils from all over the UK. These are organisations that use plastic card printers for lots of purposes, from the simplest ID cards for the council staff, to specific types of legally required ID for health inspectors and social workers, to the licensing departments that produce things like private hire taxi licenses and personal licenses for publicans.

Maybe you bought your printer from us more than a year ago, maybe you bought it from someone else but would like to work with a company that wants to help with your problems, whatever the reason, if you don’t have a support agreement in place with us, we can still help with any support or maintenance problems that you have with your plastic card printer on an ad hoc basis and we’ll always make sure that you have agreed to any costs involved before the work is completed, that way you don’t have to worry about facing a bill with nasty surprises on it.
We can also offer support on machines which have lapsed from maintenance or weren’t originally bought from us, pending an inspection of the equipment by one of our technical staff.

Our technical support line is covered round the clock, every day of the year, so if you’re the kind of organisation that doesn’t stop working don’t worry about being left in the cold outside of normal business hours.
We work with many different hospitals, prisons and other companies and organisations that simply don’t have the option to close and can’t afford to leave problems to be resolved within normal business hours. We also work with lots of people all around the world for whom normal business hours could easily be far outside of the times when most other UK companies keep their support lines manned.

One of the things we at ID Management Systems have always prided ourselves on is the service and support that we offer to our customers. We don’t think that our involvement with our customers is done as soon as we’ve taken the money and shipped the order, that’s where it starts, and that’s why we still work with many of our first customers from when the company was founded almost two decades ago. As standard all printers that we supply have their manufacturer warranties, but as well as that they include support direct with us for the first year. This means that if you have any problems at all in the first year, and the years after that if you choose to continue the support, just give us a call and we’ll do everything that we can to help. Often we can resolve problems over the phone or by remotely accessing the equipment but if we come across something that can’t be fixed that way all you need to do is get the printer back to us and we’ll do our best to get it working again for you. We can even arrange for the loan of an equivalent specification machine for you to use while we repair yours so you don’t have to worry about being left unable to print.
