The DTC 4000 card printer comes with Swift ID, an embedded software that allows you to create / edit templates. There are six different templates to choose from and the printer allows you to print on both sides of your card in one pass and just over 30 seconds. It also has an option to encode and print all in one pass therefore saving time and fuss. Dual-sided printing provides more space to add security features and cardholders details.
The printer benefits from colour changing buttons for ease of use, a card cleaning roller is integrated into each ribbon cartridge therefore the cleaning roller is automatically replaced with each ribbon change. Keeping your printer and your cards clean will enhance your print and prolong the life of your printer. The 100 card input hopper allows you to print in batches of 100 cards without having to keep filling the hopper or feeding the printer.
Security features such as ability to set a password to only give approved operators use of the printer to print and encode cards, and an option to print a UV layer for added security on your cards.
